- Bill Veghte, the head of HP's (NYSE:HPQ -1%) Enterprise Group (EG - covers enterprise hardware and related IT services) since 2013, is stepping down ahead of HP's breakup to "pursue a new opportunity."
- Antonio Neri, previously the GM of HP's server and networking ops, will replace Veghte. As it is, Neri has been serving as the leader of EG since last November, while Veghte helped lead separation efforts for HP's enterprise IT half (HP Enterprise).
- HP's split into enterprise and PC/printing halves is set to occur on Nov. 1. Shares are off on a day that markets are moderately higher.
