Dell launches 7-inch voice calling tablet, priced at Rs 7,999

Aimed at the sub-Rs 10,000 market for tablet users, Dell Venue 7 3741 will compete against the likes of Lenovo A7-30 3G, Micromax Canvas Tab P690, and Asus FonePad 7.

NEW DELHI: Dell India has released its Venue 7 3741 tablet with voice-calling feature in the market at Rs 7,999.
Sporting a 7-inch touchscreen with 1024x600p resolution, the new Dell Venue 3741 tablet runs on Android 4.4 operating system and packs the quad-core 1.8GHz Intel Atom Z3735G chipset under the hood. The tablet has 8GB built-in storage, microSD card support up to 64GB, and 1GB RAM.

The Venue 7 3741 voice calling tablet can access the internet over 2G, 3G and Wi-Fi networks, and transfer data via microUSB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0. For video calls, the tablet has a VGA camera in front, whereas a camera with 2MP resolution has been placed on the back. It has battery capacity of 4,100mAh.
