AMD has released a new set of Catalyst beta drivers for their Radeon graphics cards that are optimized and ready for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront beta, which launches on PC on October 8th.

The Catalyst 15.9.1 drivers also include optimizations for the early Fable Legends DirectX 12 benchmark, which will hopefully close the gap between the Radeon R9 Fury X and GeForce GTX 980 Ti in the early version of this game.

AMD has also addressed some issues with Diablo 3, Dragon Age: Inquisition, World of Warships, Assassin's Creed Unity and Dirt Rally in this driver. On the flip side, the Catalyst 15.9.1 drivers do have some flickering and corruption issues with Star Wars Battlefront and Dirt Rally in CrossFire setups, which will hopefully be addressed in the next driver.

If you want to download the Catalyst 15.9.1 beta drivers, you can do so here through our driver download section, or alternatively let the Catalyst Control Center perform an automatic update for you.
