The fifth beta for OS X El Capitan 10.11.2 was seeded by Apple to developers and public beta testers today.

The new beta build 15C47a comes over two weeks after the previous beta was released, and should be one of the final beta builds before the update is released to the public.

OS X 10.11.2 beta 5, build 15C48a, can be downloaded via the Apple Developer Center, or through the Software Update option in the Mac App Store if you currently have the previous beta installed.

The OS X 10.11.2 beta likely brings a number of bug fixes and performance improvements, though the release notes don’t mention any specific new features and changes. Apple asks tester in the release notes to test focus testing on Graphics, Mail, Wi-Fi, Calendar, USB, Notes, Photos, Spotlight and Networking.

Developers and public testers can grab the new update from the Mac App Store, or by downloading it through the Apple Developer Center.
