Microsoft has released new updates for Windows 10

Microsoft has just released an important batch of updates for Windows 10 apps, so users already running the platform should launch the store and get them as soon as possible.

The Windows 10 Store, OneNote, the Get Started and Get Office apps, Xbox, Windows Calculator, and Microsoft Phone have all received updates recently and are now waiting for your download in the store.

But as per the company’s new strategy, no release notes are provided, so while it’s good news that more updates keep landing, it’s also incredibly frustrating that Microsoft almost never tells us what’s included in these releases.

One thing is for sure, though: they come with bug fixes and performance improvements, so everyone should download them because, even if new features are not available, they’re still expected to bring noticeable enhancements.

Some of these updates rolled out during the weekend, so in case you’ve configured the store to automatically download and install new versions of your apps, they might already be there on your computer.

All in all, it’s good to see Microsoft updating the Windows 10 apps so often, but there’s no doubt that release notes are still needed, and everyone would love to have them. Depending on the amount of feedback in this regard, Microsoft could reconsider its decision, so you know what you have to do.
