We’re all likely familiar with the iPhone’s default Calculator app, but that same app holds more power than you might be aware of. There’s a quite capable scientific calculator hidden in there, and all it takes is a little “twist” to access it.
Using Your iPhone’s Built-In Scientific Calculator
While there are some great scientific calculator apps available in the App Store, you already have a quite capable one built-in to your iPhone’s default Calculator app.
To access the Scientific Calculator, just open the Calculator app on your iPhone, and then turn your iPhone so you’re viewing it in landscape mode. BAM! The calculator expands to include all of the usual features of a calculator of this caliber, as seen in the screenshot below.
