Turns out that claims about actor Shahrukh Khan becoming the brand ambassador for tech giant Apple was nothing, but a false alarm.

There was buzz about Apple planning to rope-in the 50-year-old actor as its brand ambassador in India and the tech giant was set to make a public announcement in this regard during the launch of next generation iPhones.

An insider, however, told ANI the claims are untrue as Apple doesn’t need a brand ambassador in India or anywhere else.
