Apple's (AAPL) 10th-generation smartphone, the rumored iPhone 7 due out in September, will likely feature a larger camera lens and bigger speaker, based on the latest supply chain leaks.

The iPhone 7 is expected to look much like the current iPhone 6S series but featuring improved components, such as a faster processor. The biggest change is the likely removal of the headphone jack, which will allow Apple to make a thinner device and offer a second speaker.

Steve Hemmerstoffer, editor of Nowhereelse.fr, on Saturday posted photos purporting to show an iPhone 7 casing.

One photo shows a second speaker where the iPhone audio jack currently resides.

Another photo shows a larger opening for the camera lens. That suggests the iPhone 7 will have a bigger camera lens for more detailed photos.

A premium model of the iPhone 7 is expected to have two cameras for even greater image capture, especially in low light conditions.

Hemmerstoffer says the iPhone 7 is in mass production in China, so he expects more leaks in the weeks ahead.

Apple plans a more extensive upgrade of its smartphone lineup next year with the iPhone 8. The buzz around the 2017 model iPhone is so great that it threatens to put a damper on sales of this year's model, analysts say. The iPhone 8 could feature an OLED screen, wireless charging and no home button, analysts say.

Apple stock ended the day down 1.3% to 92.07 at the close on the stock market today, as the Brexit tailspin continued for the market overall.
