Could these 3D printed earrings be the perfect solution to stop iPhone 7 users from losing their new and expensive Apple Airpods?

When Apple launched its new wireless headphones alongside the iPhone 7 last month many online commentators expressed concerns about how easily the little buds could be lost.

However the geniuses at M3D, a company specialising in micro 3D printers, believe they have solved the problem in the form of these bizarre earring bins.

The M3D Twisty Earbud Catchers will safely catch your £159 pods should they fall out of your ear and into your food / toilet / down a drain etc …

You can’t actually buy the earbud catchers, however M3D has shared the information you need to create them yourself on Thingiverse.

Anyone who wants to create the earbud catchers will of course need to own a 3D printer, while Gizmodo notes that you could alternatively get them created through a 3D printing service company.

So Apple may have found a solution for permanently tangled headphone wires but it seems we just may now have to invest in some 3D printed earrings to solve the latest problem.

It’s not the only unusual Apple accessory launched ahead of Christmas; a candle that smells just like a brand new Mac has also been created.

Apple accessory maker TwelveSouth has just launched the New Mac Candle which is made from 100% Soy Wax and hand poured in Charleston, South Carolina.
