AMD has released a new version of its Radeon Software Crimson Edition Graphics driver, namely the 16.11.1 hotfix (16.40.3111), which adds support for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered titles.

In addition to that, the present release also adds a new Titanfall 2 CrossFire profile for DirectX 11, and removes a bug that prevented AMD XConnect Technology from allowing Microsoft Office applications to migrate to iGPU.

Moreover, AMD’s team manages to resolve Battlefield 1 flickering and The Division freeze/hang events when in CrossFire mode, fix OBS screen capture stuttering after heavy usage, as well as remove the Radeon Software popup error improperly displayed by the Radeon WattMan feature.

Last but not least, version 16.11.1 hotfix makes sure its Radeon R9 390 graphics series won’t crash or hang when running Unigine Heaven using OpenGL.

However, this update might still encounter a few known issues with Overwatch, DOTA 2, Battlefield 1, FIFA 17, and H.264 content, as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

Considering these aspects, if you want to apply this hotfix driver, save the appropriate package for your system configuration (available for Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 OSes), and remove any previous version.

Then, run the downloaded package, follow all instructions displayed on-screen, and make sure to perform a system reboot upon completion. If this isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually.

That said, download AMD Radeon Crimson Graphics Driver 16.11.1 Hotfix, apply it, and enjoy these new changes. Also, check back with us as often as possible to stay “updated one minute ago.”
