Merrimack, New Hampshire, January 20, 2021: Ken Winograd and Space-Time Associates are very pleased to announce the release of a new/old Macintosh word game called Hangman Pro. The program is hardened, code-signed and notarized per Apple Guidelines, and runs on Mac OSX 10.5.5 or greater.
Hangman Pro for the Macintosh has its roots in a game first programmed more than 35 years ago for the very first Macintosh computers. Now, Hangman Pro has been re-written to work on the more modern Macs, yet it still retains the crude flavor of the very first versions of the game. (A Windows version of Hangman Pro is also available.)
Hangman Pro is a colorful, educational, non-violent word-guessing game, with dozens and dozens of built-in categories of words, unlimited custom word lists, hinting, digitized sounds, speech synthesis, timed or relaxed games, photo words, custom menus, a little bit of cultural literacy and a whole lot of fun for the whole family.
