Microsoft Build 2017: Hands on with Kodisoft's interactive table running Windows 10 IoT Core

One of the more interesting devices that I came across at Microsoft's Build 2017 developer conference was the IRT Table. Designed for restaurants and priced at $15,000 a piece, it has a 4K display, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 GPU, and an Intel Core i7.

Naturally, you can use it to order food, but it does quite a bit more. There are games that you can play, such as air hockey (clearly, I lost because I was holding a camera) and chess. Patrons that sit at one of these tables can also complete virtual jigsaw puzzles with different levels of difficulty.

Another interesting feature is that customers can use it to send a gift to someone else at the restaurant. For example, if you want to purchase a drink for a friend that you see across the room, you can do just that.

The IRT Table is only in 11 restaurants in Europe and the Middle East right now, and the one you see in the video below is actually the first one to cross into the United States. Check it out:
