Back in February, as it announced its Try-and-Buy Program for the Surface Hub, Microsoft said that over 2,000 customers in 24 markets were using its giant touchscreen collaboration device, which runs Windows 10 Team - a specialized version of the OS, based on Windows 10 Enterprise. It hasn't updated those figures since then, but the company did reveal today that it's seen "huge demand" for the Surface Hub in the United Kingdom.
Demand for the device has been so significant there that Microsoft has now announced that it's expanding its Surface Hub partner programme in the UK.
A total of fifteen new partners will begin selling the Surface Hub to UK organizations from today. Microsoft said that each of them has "extensive experience in working with audio, visual and communications solutions, but will also benefit from Microsoft support in sales and deployment of Surface Hub to customers."
It added that the addition of these new partners will give customers "more choice in where they buy the product and accessories from, as well as from whom they receive support."
A few weeks ago, Microsoft revealed some of the new features coming to Windows 10 Team as part of its Creators Update, including an improved Start screen.
