Moment, considered by many mobile photographers to be the leading maker of smartphone lenses, are taking orders for cases that will fit the new iPhones.

Tests show the stable of Moment lenses and the Photo Case work with the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, Moment founder Marc Barros said.

Moment is currently testing whether the battery case will work on the new 8 series and should have results by the end of the week. Moment is waiting to get its hands on an iPhone X to finish a case design and do extensive shooting with the lenses before filling X orders.

Photo cases for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will fit the 8 and 8 Plus and are available for immediate shipping, Barros said. Moment hopes to have a tested and well-crafted case for the iPhone X ready to ship in December.

The Photo Case, which has a mount for the Moment wide, super fisheye, telephoto and macro lenses, retails for 29.99 on the company website or Amazon.

The Battery Case includes an electronic shutter and currently runs $99.99.

“These new camera phones are changing the game for mobile photography and now with Moment, their amazing cameras get even better,” Barros said in a written statement.

Moment also makes products for the iPad, Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy and Galaxy Note phones and the Nexus 5.
