Gifting iTunes Movies, Music and More

Some people may prefer digital iTunes gifts instead of physical CDs and DVDs. You can send a specific album, movie, app or book as a gift to another Apple user from within iTunes. You can include a special message and even schedule the gift.

My daughter gave me a copy of the musical Hamilton to be watched on line. She brought it up on my iPad. I cannot find it now. Where should I look ato find it. I never intentionally deleated it.

nancy: Did she buy it for you through iTunes? if so, launch the TV app on your iPad and tap on Library at the bottom.

iTunes Gift cards can only be redeemed in the country of purchase and if sent as 'a gift' to a person in a different country, the only recourse is for the purchaser to apply for a refund from Apple. iTunes Gift Cards could be a perfect gift for overseas family. This seems clunky and 'un-Apple' like. I guess it has something to do with taxes and/or exchange rates.

Can gifting be done from an Apple user with iTunes to those who have android devices rather than Apple devices?

Lanne: In the cases I mention in this video, there would be no point. Apple only sells apps that work on iOS, not android. And videos would require the TV app. So what would you even buy an Android user on iTunes that they could use?

Good point. I didn't know for sure, so I asked. Had I known the answer, I wouldn't have bothered to ask the question.
