Tomorrow morning, I'm going to get up at the crack of 4:00 am and head to Las Vegas for CES. I do this with many misgivings, though it's something I've been doing on and off for almost 20 years.
Or, for over 20 years, if you count COMDEX (which I do), which I started attending in 1995. Las Vegas has become inevitable, and there were some years in there where I visited the city at least three times thanks to various tradeshows.
Anyway, CES is and has always been a mess. Which I was reminded of this morning, coincidentally, when I tried to find a particular photo on my NAS. My older photos are not completely scanned in, so there are all kinds of weird gaps. But here are some CES photos from various years between 2001 and 2010. As you can see not much has changed. Well, except my hair color, I guess.
