AMD has announced the availability of its new 18.2.1 Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition Graphics driver that adds support for Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age title and resolves terrain corruptions seen in Need for Speed Payback.

In addition to that, this update fixes fullscreen stuttering and black screen errors experienced by Radeon FreeSync with specific titles and displays, and make sure Radeon Overlay and Chill work correctly with Vulkan API games.

Moreover, the producer managed to improve compatibility between Hybrid Graphics configurations and DirectX9 APIs (especially with Sid Meier's Civilization V) and implement other changes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

Besides the improvements mentioned above, AMD’s update might still experience issues with Radeon FreeSync (Chrome playback flickering), Radeon Overlay (Radeon Host Application crash intermittently), and other features.

When it comes to installation, the producer has provided four packages compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Windows 7 and 10 platforms, as well as a minimal setup utility file that automatically downloads and installs the required AMD driver components.

That said, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 18.2.1, apply it on your computer, and perform a reboot upon completion (manually, if not requested automatically). Also, check back with us as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
