14 DAY TRIAL // AMD has announced the availability of its new 18.2.1 Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition Graphics driver that adds support for Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age title and resolves terrain corruptions seen in Need for Speed Payback.
In addition to that, this update fixes fullscreen stuttering and black screen errors experienced by Radeon FreeSync with specific titles and displays, and make sure Radeon Overlay and Chill work correctly with Vulkan API games.
Moreover, the producer managed to improve compatibility between Hybrid Graphics configurations and DirectX9 APIs (especially with Sid Meier's Civilization V) and implement other changes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.
Besides the improvements mentioned above, AMD’s update might still experience issues with Radeon FreeSync (Chrome playback flickering), Radeon Overlay (Radeon Host Application crash intermittently), and other features.
