Apple is teaming up with M. Night Shyamalan for a mysterious new TV project.

Shyamalan reportedly struck a deal with Apple to executive produce a new TV show that’s being described as a psychological thriller, but other details are being kept under wraps.

According to a report from Variety, the first season of the show will consist of 10 episodes that are about a half-hour in length each. The show is being written by Tony Basgallop with Shyamalan set to direct the first episode.

Shyamalan’s blockbuster credits include The Sixth Sense and Signs. He had a series of dudes after that with The Village, Lady in the Water and After Earth. His latest movie, Split, was released to critical and commercial success, setting up a sequel to that movie and 2000’s Unbreakable that’s currently in the works.

A title for the series hasn’t been announced yet. The show will be produced by Shyamalan’s Blinding Edge Pictures with Ashwin Rajan serving as executive producer. Jason Blumenthal, Todd Black and Steve Tisch of Escape Artists will also executive produce, with Taylor Latham co-executive producing.

Shyamalan’s show joins a growing roster of original Apple TV shows that have been greenlit in the last six months. The company currently has projects underway with everyone from Reese Witherspoon to Steven Spielberg. Apple plans to spend $1 billion on original content on 2018 though an exact release date for its upcoming content hasn’t been given.
