Wareable has published leaked images that supposedly show Fitbit’s next smartwatch. The device has a sleek design and will reportedly be aimed at female consumers. According to Wareable, it’ll run on Fitbit OS, will be water resistant up to 50 meters, and has the ability to monitor sleep apnea through a SpO2 sensor. However, it won’t have GPS. Fitbit CEO James Park previously mentioned during an investor call that the company plans to launch a smartwatch with “mass appeal,” and this might be it.

Fitbit’s last wearable, the $299 Ionic, was launched to average reviews; The Verge’s own Lauren Goode noted its inelegant hardware and limited smartwatch functionality. The Ionic is also chunky and only available in one size, putting off users with smaller wrists. This new watch seems to address at least some of those concerns.

Wareable reports that the device will be a successor to the Blaze, though it’s not clear if it will be called the Blaze 2 or given a different name altogether. Renders show a watchface with rose gold, silver, or black accents, and different strap options including what look like plastic and fabric designs in silver, black, purple, and coral. Fitbit’s new device also bears a resemblance to the Pebble Time Steel watch. (Fitbit acquired Pebble in December and will end support for Pebble watches in June.)

Sources aware of Fitbit’s plans told Wareable that the company “wants this to be something that will appeal to a larger, more general smartwatch audience.” This follows the announcement yesterday of Fitbit’s Adidas-branded edition of the Ionic watch, priced at $330. It’s being positioned as a direct competitor to Apple Watch’s Nike edition, which starts at $329.

There’s no word on when Fitbit’s new watch will be released or how much it will cost, though it will reportedly be cheaper than the Ionic.
