Fortnite Battle Royale has landed on mobile! You can now sign up for early access to the game on iPhone and iPad. If you’re lucky enough to get an invite, you’ll also receive codes for your friends.

Fortnite has helped make the battle royale genre bigger and more popular than ever. Its unique gameplay, colorful graphics, and weekly content updates have helped it overtake the likes of H1Z1 and even Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds, with 3.4 million concurrent players at its peak.

Fortnite hits iOS

Fortnite Battle Royale is free to play on consoles and PC — helping it take off so quickly — and now it is making the leap to mobile. It’s exactly the same 100-player game with all the same content. It even supports cross-playform multiplayer with PlayStation 4 and PC.

Epic Games hasn’t provided a date for Fortnite’s official release on mobile, but it is making the game available early on iOS. There’s a catch, though: To get early access to the beta, you’ll need an invite. Epic just opened invite registrations today, March 12.

Simply visit the Fortnite website now to sign up. You’ll need to be running iOS 11 on an iPhone 6s or later, an iPad mini 4 or later, or an iPad Air 2 or later to play the game. Support for Android devices is coming later, Epic says.

It’s not clear how Epic will choose who gets an invite, how many are available, or how long it will take for them to be issued. All we know for now is that those who are accepted will also receive codes to invite their friends, and Epic will open the preview to more players over time.

When we find out more, we’ll update this post. Good luck getting your invite!
