With the release of Windows 10 Insider Preview build 17128 to the Fast ring today, Microsoft is signaling that the end is nigh.
The end of development, that is. Windows 10 version 1803 is now feature-complete. And while this build is not necessarily the final build, it represents what we can expect for this version of Windows 10. Any further builds are simply about fine-tuning and bug fixing.

“We’re … beginning the phase of checking in final code to prepare for the final release,” Microsoft announced today. “The watermark at the lower right-hand corner of the desktop has disappeared. This does not mean this is the final build as we are not done yet … we’ve got more fixes being checked in for the next [build].”
So the only difference between this build and the previous one, as it turns out, is that watermark: And that previous build, build 17127 is not coincidentally heading out to the Slow ring today too. This thing is baked.
See that sign-post in the distance? That’s the finish line.
