Rumors of the next iPhone are running hot and heavy, and an artist has assembled the various unconfirmed reports into concept images of the device Apple might release this fall.

These visual speculations come from Muhsin M. Belaal Auckburaully of DBS Designing, who gives Martin Hajek some real competition in Apple concept drawings.

Among the more notable features Auckburaully picked up on is a triple-lens camera. Several rumors have indicated this will be a feature of the 2018 iPhone. The iPhone X has two lenses, one of which is 2x telephoto. Speculation indicates that the third lens would be 5x telephoto.

Naturally, the designer paid no attention to the earlier rumors that Apple’s going to leave the screen cutout off its 2018 handsets. Those circulated at the time when many thought the iPhone X was selling poorly, with the ‘notch’ and its attendant Face ID facial recognition system partially blamed for supposedly slow demand. Now that everyone knows the iPhone X is the best selling smartphone in the world, any idea of abandoning Face ID has gone out the window.

Auckburaully speculated that the 2018 iPhone will come in five casing colors: silver, grey, gold, black, and red. He prepared a video showing his concept drawings:

All these images, as well as the video, appear to show the iPhone X replacement with a 5.8-inch display. The artist from DBS Designing didn’t include the rumored 6.5-inch model sometimes called the iPhone X Plus.

There was also no sight of the cheaper 6.1-inch iPhone that’s been rumored. Nor did Auckburaully include the second-generation iPhone SE  in his speculations.

Other 2018 iPhone rumors

There are plenty of other rumors about Apple’s next models that can’t be shown in an image. They might not come with a Lightning-to-headphone adapter for example, but they could include a USB-C charger.

At least one of the handsets might not have 3D Touch, an unconfirmed report which set off some controversy.

However they look, the 2018 iPhone models are expected to launch this fall. And they won’t be cheap.
