The second public beta of Apple’s huge iOS 12 updates has already arrived.
After seeding iOS 12 beta 3 to developers earlier this week, Apple just dropped iOS 12 public beta 2, allowing everyone to try the new UI tweaks and performance enhancements.
Members of Apple’s public beta testing program received the first beta just over a week ago. That beta build was the same as the iOS 12 beta 2 build Apple seeded developers. Public beta 2 should contain the same changes found in iOS 12 beta 3, which added more details to the Maps app among other changes.
iOS 12 Public Beta 2 can be downloaded through Apple’s beta testing portal. You can also download it to your iPhone or iPad if you have the previous beta build installed.
The new beta adds the option to share Dropbox-style links to your photos and videos via iCloud. There’s a new UI for the Voice Memos app on iPad. Most of the other changes are animation adjustments, icon tweaks and other small tweaks.
