2018 iPhone Xs, Xs Max, 9 Price Revealed?

Apple will unveil three new iPhones next week and after months of speculation, we will finally be able to put the rumors to bed for another year. At this point we know pretty much all there is to know about the 2018 iPhone lineup and we don’t expect too many surprises when CEO Tim Cook and his team set foot on stage at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park.

However, while we do know a lot about the new iPhones, one aspect that is still up in the air, is the pricing, and we now have a new report by Macerkpof which claims to have all the answers.

Citing sources that are said to have a good track record with these things, Macerkpof claims that the new iPhone lineup will look something like this: The LCD iPhone 9 priced at €799, the iPhone Xs priced at €909, and iPhone Xs Max priced at €1,149.

The eagle-eyed amongst you will have noted that those prices are in euros, which makes it difficult to confirm exactly what the pricing structure will look like in the United States thanks to things like sales tax and the way Apple doesn’t directly convert pricing for international markets.

That being said, the current iPhone lineup in Europe matches those claimed price points exactly:

  • The iPhone 8 priced at €799
  • The iPhone 8 Plus priced at €909
  • The iPhone X priced at  €1,149

With that all taken into account and comparing those prices with how things currently shake down in the States, we suspect that the US pricing will have the iPhone 9 costing $699, iPhone Xs costing $799 and the iPhone Xs Max costing $999.

These are obviously starting points with pricing then changing depending on the storage capacity chosen. Either way, it looks like the iPhone Xs Max will be the replacement for the iPhone X at the $999 price point, which is interesting news indeed.
