In this case, it allows you to create tailored schedules, but also to make automatic weather adjustments without you having to make them manually. Its Rachio Wireless Flow Meter additionally allows it to detect leaks and fine-tune watering accuracy.
HomeKit integration is available starting today for Rachio 3 owners throughout the U.S.

Apple introduced its HomeKit software framework back in September 2014 with the launch of iOS 8. Manufacturers of HomeKit-enabled devices are part of Apple’s MFi Program, referring to devices made for the iPhone, iPod, or iPad.
