For those shopping for a new iPad, it seems that maybe holding off for a few weeks might be a good idea. This is because according to the rumors, Apple is expected to launch a brand new iPad Pro in the coming weeks, and now thanks to a leaked render shared on Twitter by Ben Geskin (who has accurately leaked renders in the past), we have an idea of what we might be able to expect.

Note that this isn’t the first time we’re seeing renders of the new iPad Pro. There were renders leaked back in September. What makes the upcoming refresh such a big deal is that it will represent a huge redesign of the current iPad Pro lineup, similar to how the iPhone X was received.

This particular render more or less confirms everything we’ve heard so far, which includes an edge-to-edge display, lack of a home button, which also means that the tablet will be getting Face ID. However unlike the iPhone X, there will be no notch for the iPad Pro as apparently the bezels will be thick enough to house the TrueDepth camera components.

We’ve also heard rumors that the iPad Pro refresh could see Apple ditch the headphone jack and also make the shift to USB-C instead of Lightning. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but like we said, Apple is largely expected to announce these new iPads later this month, so we should have the official details soon enough.
