Apple Sends Out Event Invites For ‘There’s More In The Making’ October 30th Event

As expected, and as widely discussed over the last few days, Apple Inc. has issued official invites to its upcoming October 30th media event dubbed ‘There’s more in the making’. The invites not only confirm the existence of the event but also give us a firm date for when we can look forward to new Apple announcements.

The official invitations confirm that Apple will be holding this special October event on October 30th, with special members of the tech-based press invited to see and cover everything that gets reported on the day.

Other big players in the tech world, such as Google, have already taken the opportunity to hold their events this October, which means that Cupertino-based Apple Inc. is really the last to make some announcements that take it into the extremely busy and extremely lucrative holiday shopping period.

In terms of what we can actually expect at this latest October Apple event, well, we never know until we know, and Apple certainly doesn’t make an agenda public before the event, but we can expect it to be heavily iPad-centric. Tim Cook’s men and women are expected to announce a refreshed iPad Pro range, complete with a forward-facing TrueDepth camera system and Face ID for facial biometric detection and authentication.

Those iPads are expected to come with a major redesign which includes slimmer display bezels and putting the focus well and truly on the stunning display, just like it did with iPhone X, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max.

Many analysts and commentators are also expecting Apple to make significant Mac announcements, including a Mac mini refresh and a few incremental updates to some of the company’s other Mac models. Interestingly, it will be extremely fun to see if Apple throws in some curveballs into the event and once again starts to entertain the conversation around the infamous AirPower hardware which was meant to be released earlier this year.

Apple seems to have removed most, if not all, references to AirPower from its website meaning that it could be a thing of the past. However, if it does make a surprise appearance then the event could also feature a new set of AirPods.

Stay tuned and we will be sure to let you know everything that gets announced on the day.
