See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

How my iPhone is ideal at helping me organise foreign trips

I’ve a couple of trips forthcoming and I’m using my iPhone X to plan. I use the United Airlinea app to choose my seat, store my flight details, and on the day hold my boarding pass. Obviously my boarding pass is electronic and so I will just show it to the Agent when I am at the Airport. In addition The Weather Channel app on my phone keeps me updated with what the long range forecast is so I know what to pack in advance. The iPhone holds my Broadway show tickets for a show that I have been looking forward to seeing. I can also make telephone calls to book a table at a heavily subscribed restaurant especially for my first night in New York. I will also use WhatsApp to invite friends.

Also my calendar holds important events and appointments that I may need to attend and these are synchronised across all my peripherals whether it is my MacBook, iPhone or iPad.

I also keep a scanned copy of my passport and ESTA on my phone just in case of any issues, I’ve never lost my passport yet but it’s always good to have your diplomatic details saved on my iPhone.

Finally my iPhone X takes awesome photographs and what better camera to have me than the one I carry in my pocket - my iPhone X. I’ve covered most areas where my iPhone X helps me plan my forthcoming travels but let’s not forget making telephone calls, watching movies whilst on my flight which takes advantage of the larger screen and finally the awesome battery on my iPhone X helps me get through a full day, without charge, wherever I am in the world, and in this forthcoming case - New York City.
