Two people were killed at an Amazon distribution warehouse in Baltimore Friday evening when a 50-foot wall collapsed during a severe weather, officials said.
The victims, who had not been publicly identified Saturday, worked for an outside company, not Amazon, a spokeswoman said. No one else was hurt.
One of the men was found under the debris of the wall Friday evening but later pronounced dead at a hospital. The second victim’s body was recovered Saturday, officials said.
Severe storms with strong winds tore through much of Maryland Friday evening. The National Weather Service was expected to investigate whether a tornado had touched down in the area.
