Microsoft's Surface Go with Advanced LTE is now available

After promising an LTE model when the Surface Go was announced in July, Microsoft announced last week that you can finally pre-order one. Today, the device is shipping, and it's available in stores.

The Surface Go with Advanced LTE comes in three different configurations, one of which is for consumers and two of which are for businesses. On the consumer end, you can grab one with 8GB RAM and a 128GB SSD for $679. At this time, all of the Wi-Fi only models are discounted by $50, but sadly, the LTE one remains full price.

While the Surface Go comes with Windows 10 Home in S mode, the big difference with the Surface Go for Business is that it ships with Windows 10 Pro, which can be configured to Pro in S mode. The commercial LTE models include 8GB RAM and a 128GB SSD for $729, or 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD for $829, although the latter model is currently out of stock.

The Surface Go with Advanced LTE has the same specs as the standard model, with a Pentium Gold 4415Y processor, but it also has a Snapdragon X16 4G LTE modem, the same that's used in the Surface Pro. And like the Pro, the gigabit-class modem is capped at 450Mbps.

If you want to pick one up, you can find the Surface Go on the Microsoft Store here, and you can find the Surface Go for Business here.
