Friends gather to remember late Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen

Friends of late Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen gathered at his former Seattle home, we hear, to remember the tech mogul.

Allen died last month from complications of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. A source told us that a gathering of friends and family had a World’s Fair theme.

“It was his favorite thing as a kid,” said a source. “Every detail of the event were Paul’s favorite things — it was so touching.”

We hear guests included Allen’s Microsoft co-founder, Bill Gates. Power player David Geffen was meant to attend but couldn’t make it as he was under the weather.

Guests were told to keep a lid on any details at the event. Buildings in Seattle and throughout Washington state were lit up in blue earlier this month to remember Allen.
