A new spec list surfaced at Lenovo, it involves the S530 series, and it mentions three processors from the 9000 series. Which Intel to date has not yet announced. These will be the Core i3, i5 and i7 in the U-series for laptops.

The three processors listed on the IdeaPad S530-13IWL are the i7-9550U, i5-9250U and i3-9130U and would replace the Core i7-8565U, Core i5-8265U and Core i3-8145U. It is assumed these are Whiskey Lake proces, however there is a chance that the 9000 series will be Comet Lake U models. Rumors surfaced about this name last summer. Comet lake U is a further enhanced 14nm++ based chip generation for laptops, with up to four cores. Lenovo could announce the new IdeaPad at CES.
