If you’re an iPhone user, chances are you typically juggle between Lightning, micro USB, and USB-C which can be a bit troublesome and messy. For example if you have a powerbank, you will need to use a Lightning cable to charge your iPhone, but you’ll need a micro USB or USB-C cable to recharge it.

If that’s a bit too inelegant for your tastes, then you might be interested in checking out Mophie’s latest Powerstation battery pack. This is essentially a powerbank for your mobile device that comes with a built-in 5,050mAh battery, but what makes this particular powerbank unique is the fact that it can recharge itself via Lightning.

This means that after you’re done charging your iPhone or iPad, you can use the same cable, plug it into a laptop or power source, and recharge the powerbank for later. As Mophie notes, iPhone and iPad users will never have to worry about bringing extra cables again since a single Lightning cable should be good enough to get the job done.

However note that the Powerstation still uses a USB-A outlet so if you are using a Lightning cable with a USB-C end, then it won’t work. If you’re interested in Mophie’s Powerstation with Lightning, it is priced at $60 and is available via the company’s website.
