Apple Still Does Not Make Any Cases for Its Best Selling iPhone

Apple launched a bunch of new cases for the iPhone XS, the iPhone XS Max, and bands for the Apple Watch last night. The company sells cases for most of its new iPhones, except the iPhone XR.

The iPhone XR is the cheapest iPhone out of all the three iPhones Apple announced this year. And although there have been concerns about iPhone sale numbers recently, Apple claimed the iPhone XR has been the best selling iPhone out of the three iPhones released this year. The device reportedly outsold both the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, but do note that it went on sale a month after the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

Either way, one thing that has been quite interesting to see is the lack of any original Apple-branded cases for the iPhone XR from Cupertino. The company released cases for the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max ages ago, with the new Hibiscus, Mellow Yellow, and Pacific Green colors launching just yesterday. However, there is still no signs of an Apple-branded case for the company’s most popular iPhone as of yet.

Apple also launched 3 new Apple Watch Sport bands, 3 new Nike Sport bands, and 3 new Nike Sport Loops, reports MacRumors. And yet, there are no signs of a single, first-party case for the company’s most popular iPhone. Yikes.

Lol…is this Mehdi's op-ed?

I don't think anyone cares about cases, ESPECIALLY iPhone users when there are a plethora of better looking cases out there in the market. From cheap Amazon 3rd party sellers to high end brands like Chanel and Tom Ford…..lol…..I don't think anyone in the world cares.

Buying one expensive, but sturdy, case is better than buying three moderately-priced, but less-sturdy, cases.

Lack of case availability is why I have not yet bought the XR.

Which is pretty surprising since the first thing an Apple fan does is talk about the beautiful industrial design and the second thing is to put a case over it so they never see that design again.

They want you to drop and break it so that you have to buy a new one, help their slumped sales :-)
