Unc0ver Jailbreak Resources package updated to version 0.11 to fix jailed state bug

If you’re using Pwn20wnd’s unc0ver jailbreak on your iOS 11 handset, then it would be in your best interest to launch Cydia and refresh your sources at your earliest convenience.

As it would seem, the Unc0ver Jailbreak Resources package by iOS developer Sam Binger has been updated to version 0.11 on Friday with a critical bug fix. Pwn20wnd announced the update on Twitter Friday afternoon:

From this Tweet, we can gather that this update solves a somewhat pesky problem in which a jailbroken device would randomly think it wasn’t jailbroken and then display the non-jailbroken state.

We generally recommend that all jailbreakers run the latest stable versions of all jailbreak tool dependencies whenever possible. If you haven’t upgraded your Unc0ver Jailbreak Resources to version 0.11 yet, then you should do so as soon as possible.

Notably, if you’re upgrading from Unc0ver Jailbreak Resources version 0.8, then you won’t need to reboot your device. On the other hand, if you’re upgrading from a version of Unc0ver Jailbreak Resources older than version 0.8, then you will need to reboot. Anyone in the latter category will need to re-jailbreak with the unc0ver jailbreak tool after updating, as this is the nature of a semi-tethered jailbreak.
