  4. I didn’t work for me 🙁 tried them all! But i was in the bus and all of the sudden they both went to 50% of the volume and that is what i hear now if i put the volume to 100%. Cause of covid the apple stores are closed but i will call apple support. Thanks for all the tips! They are amazing!

  5. this actually worked for me too. i thought maybe i was losing hearing in one ear; happy to discover i simply have dirty ears.

  6. In my case I made all the process more than twice and did not work. The right pod has lower volume than the left. Noticed that it improved when adjusting the position of the pod in the ear, but to make it work, the “leg” of the pod had to be exposed and not seated correctly and may come loose if a slightly more sudden movement happened. It’s a hardware problem for sure. I have two sets of airpods (mine and my son’s pods) and mine is working great compared to the my son’s one. So, the same adjust for both and only one works fine. I will take it to a an authorized Apple Service Center.

  7. I had a problem where my left AirPod was louder than my right and i couldn’t figure out why for maybe a year and a half. I Would always clean my AirPods with a paper clip end and then I used a q tip especially my right airpod. I then looked at all the steps on this page and tried a couple out but then I saw that I should suck on the airpod. Thinking it won’t work but then thought what the heck I’ll try it . Sure enough sucking on my right AirPod (No homo Lol) was the remedy of making my sound back to normal!

  8. Thank you ITS HELPED ALOT! OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH and for people who don’t understand go on Mono Audio and switch it on

  9. This really helped. My left AirPods been pretty quiet for a few months and couldn’t figure out what was wrong so I just stopped using that one.🤦‍♂️ Saw this today and tried out a few of the methods and now it works. Forever grateful.🙏

  10. My AirPod volume will not go down, it is all the way up and no matter how much I press on the volume buttons it will not adjust

  11. So the main trick to work It out Is weird but you should do It to make your both AirPods play the same audio!!
    The trick: Suck your AirPod that Is having low volume and clean the area that you sucked with Johnson’s Bud or any other one, and take a paper clip and clean the area that you see the derbis and reconnect your AirPods and you are ready to go!!
    Have fun with your AirPods with rich, clear, and amazing sound quality!!

  12. I tried all of the above, but it didn’t work for me. What work for me was just adjusting the Airbods in my ear slightly outside the ear canal and that seemed to activate the volume a whole lot louder

  13. I am so angry. These AirPods were a waste of money. Deadass I put them in and my volume will be up all the way and i cant hear it. Everyone can expect me. This is so annoying I cant even handle it anymore. This was no empt o my horrible situation.

    1. Use the volume button on the side of your device. And push the one that makes the volume quieter till you reach you liking. If your using a computer simply do the same as above except the button will be on your keyboard

  14. FOUND THE SOLUTION;
    Settings > Music > Playback > Volume Limit. Adjust the max volume output.

    Not sure how I set mine to 15% but it’s fixed and the limit volume is now off.

  15. Stupidly I didn’t step-by-step document this so I don’t know which stage helped, although it did help.

    Cleaning didn’t help a lot, I did notice a minor improvement but nothing worth writing home about.

    What did help though was in General > Accessibility, changing to mono gave it a volume boost.

    I did all the other steps and it seems more like when I initially bought them now.
