CES 2019 bugWere your kids lucky enough to get a new iPad for the holidays? If so, you may be interested in the kid-friendly new iPad cases debuted in time for CES 2019 by the manufacturer Speck.

Made of sturdy, but soft material and boasting bright colors, the big innovation of the Case-E cases is the pair of (detachable) flexible arms sported by each case. These can be used for either standing your iPad up, using the oversized hands for balance, or wrapping them around car seats for safe viewing on the go.

The cases promise 6-foot drop protection, along with a squishy external EVA foam layer that makes them easier to hold. The Case-E can be used with any of the last five generations of 9.7 inch iPad devices. These chunky cases will start shipping early this year, and retail for $39.95.

Speck has also used CES to debut its $9.95 “GrabTab” accessory. This slimline grip assist will attach to the back of your iPhone as an extra secure hold for those that need it. While there are other grip assist products out there, GrabTab promises that it won’t interfere with features such as wireless charging. At just 3mm thick, it also won’t disrupt the sleek body design of your pricey smartphone.
