AMD is expected to present a range of new products at their CES 2019 keynote. The highlights being their new processor and graphics lineup based on the brand new 7nm process. AMD has already unveiled their 7nm EPYC Rome server processor lineup for the data center market so it seems like we will be getting more consumer-centric announcements from the CES 2019 keynote by Dr. Lisa Su.

The AMD Zen+ based Ryzen 2000 series processors have been around since April of 2018 and we could see a new consumer being announced at the event. AMD has already introduced their new Ryzen 3000 series mobility parts which are refreshed on the new 12nm process node but since the AMD Ryzen 3000 series branding exists on the mobility front, we can expect a new series coming out for desktops soon too.

As for other endeavors, we can see AMD introducing their new graphics lineup. The existing high-end Radeon RX Vega graphics cards have been in the market since August of 2017 while the AMD Radeon RX 590, based on a refreshed Polaris architecture, while launch recently, is still relying on an older GPU architecture which first launched back in 2016. So it seems like eyes will be on the next big thing from AMD and that next big thing could either be the much awaited Navi lineup or some sort of gaming card based on the 7nm Vega 20 GPU architecture which has been teased under the Vega II branding a while ago.

Regardless of what the red team announces at the keynote, it will be one of the most interesting events to look forward to. Till then, let us know your thoughts on what you expect will be announced at the event, in the comments below.
