Apple Watch Do Not Disturb, as the name suggests, allows your Apple Watch to continue collecting notifications without actually notifying you. That might sound strange, but it's ideally suited when you're asleep, in a meeting, at the movies, working, or otherwise in a situation where you don't want noise or haptics to bother you. Here's how to set up and use Do Not Disturb on the Apple Watch Series 7 and all the best Apple Watch models.

I've been writing about Apple since 2010 with a year-long hiatus to work in an Apple Store. I'm a contributor to iMore and co-host of the iMore Show. I like using Apple Watch Do Not Disturb while recording the iMore Show, since I don't want any pings or other distractions while podcasting. The Do Not Disturb function makes it easier to focus.
