According to a recent report, it has been suggested that Apple has some new iPads in the works that could be launched in the first half of the year. This includes a refresh to the budget iPad that was introduced last year, and also a refresh to the iPad mini which hasn’t been refreshed in quite a while.

It is unclear how true these rumors are, but they are certainly gaining traction because a bunch of new iPads have been registered with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and has been spotted in its database. The listing reads, “Tablet computers of the trademark ‘Apple’ models  A2123, A2124, A2153, A2154, A2133, and A2152 (software version iOS 12).”

Now these seem like a lot of iPads, but there is a good chance that these different tablet models are for the different configurations, such as different storage sizes, cellular versus WiFi, and so on. It is not necessarily a guarantee that these are the iPads that have been rumored about, but it does lend credence to the rumors.

It also makes sense that these might be the iPad and the iPad mini because it was late last year that Apple refreshed the iPad Pro lineup, so it seems doubtful that a refresh of the iPad Pros would be arriving so soon.
