Microsoft is expanding its latest Surface devices to more markets. The company’s Surface Pro 6, Surface Laptop 2, and the Surface Studio 2, are landing on 20 new markets as part of the latest expansion.
The devices, which first launched about 5 months ago, were only available in some major western markets initially. Microsoft then launched the devices in some major Asian markets last month, including China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan.

Today’s expansion brings the devices to 20 new markets, though Microsoft isn’t specifically saying exactly which countries are getting new devices as part of the latest expansion. But the addition of 20 new markets is pretty huge, making the latest Surface devices available in more regions than before.
Still, customers in some regions may continue to be disappointed due to the timing of the launch. Considering the devices originally launched 5 months ago, today’s launch in these 20 new unnamed markets is still very late when compared to how Apple launches new Macs.
