Silk Folio Wallet iPhone Case review: Feature filled

The Silk Folio Wallet iPhone Case has everything you'd want in a folio wallet. It holds up to four cards plus cash; it also props up your iPhone for video viewing. An optional wrist strap makes it easy to carry. A large elastic band holds the case closed when not in use. Best of all, the price is right.

Silk Folio Wallet iPhone Case: Features

Constructed from vegan faux leather, this wallet folio case has a hard plastic interior case so your phone is protected from every angle. The lip of the case is slightly higher than the screen. The folio flap contains four card slots and a long cash slot. I had no trouble placing cards into each of the slots or removing them.

A large elastic band can be pulled over the back to hold the folio closed when not in use if you wish. A detachable wrist strap gives you a hands-free carrying option. The case can be folded into a kickstand if you'd like to watch videos. Because of the interior plastic case, the phone is still fully protected in kickstand mode.

Large cutouts ensure all of the buttons, speakers, ports, and camera are unobstructed. Wireless charging still works even with the case fully loaded. The Silk logo is embossed on both the outer front and interior front flap. There is a small cutout on the front so you could actually talk on the phone with the case secured closed, though of course, you'd have to open the folio to make or accept the call.

The Silk Folio Wallet iPhone Case comes in two colors: Black Tie Affair (black) and Rosé All Day (pink.) It's available for the iPhone X/XS, iPhone XR, and iPhone XS Max.

So functional

Silk Folio Wallet iPhone Case: What I like

I've reviewed a number of folio wallet cases and many are missing what I feel are important features. This case really has all of the features I can think of needing. Plus, the price is incredible, especially for this level of quality.

Might be more case than you need

Silk Folio Wallet iPhone Case: What I don't like

As great as this case is, it's not going to be to everyone's taste. If you like real full-grain leather, this is not it. It's constructed entirely from artificial materials. Note that especially once you get those cards in there, the case is pretty bulky.

Makes good on its claims

Silk Folio Wallet iPhone Case: Bottom line

Silk nicknamed this case "Keeper of The Things," and it's true. It stows enough that many people can leave the wallet at home and just bring their iPhone in this wallet folio. With added features like the closure band, wrist strap, kickstand, and wireless charging, this case will fit the bill for many users.
