Microsoft has recently released a new update for SwiftKey, providing users with a series of new themes which the company says were specifically optimized for new-generation iPhones.

SwiftKey was, is, and will continue to be the top third-party keyboard app on both Android and iOS, and the updates that Microsoft releases every once in a while further refine the experience with it, while also adding new extras for easier typing.

The latest update for iOS devices isn’t necessarily focused on new features, but on giving users the power of better tweaking the keyboard to match their preferences.

New themes for the latest-generation iPhones

Users of the app can now enable a new animal theme pack, which includes a total of 5 different designs. They are specifically optimized for iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XR, and iPhone XS Max, according to Microsoft itself, but you can use them on pretty much any iPhone model anyway, including older models like the iPhone 7.

Version 2.4.8 comes with a single bug fix, as Microsoft says it resolved an issue that caused the emoji skin tone selector not to be displayed on larger devices.

You can get the latest version of SwiftKey for iOS from the App Store and if you’re into customizations or using one of the new-generation iPhones, you should really do this because the app comes with special goodies for you.

SwiftKey is currently the leading third-party keyboard app on iPhone, and the App Store data speaks for itself. The app has a total rating of 4.7 out of a maximum of 5, with close to 50,000 ratings left by its users. The keyboard requires iOS 9.3 or later and it can be used not only on iPhone, but also on iPad and iPod touch.
