Apple seeds fifth betas of iOS 12.2, tvOS 12.2, watchOS 5.2 and macOS 10.14.4 to developers

Apple on Monday seeded the fifth betas of iOS 12.2, tvOS 12.2, watchOS 5.2 and macOS 10.14.4. Registered developers can install the updates via each platform’s respective OTA mechanism, or through the Developer Center.

iOS 12.2 brings about a number of improvements, including Apple News in Canada, HomeKit TV support, four new Animoji, and UI tweaks to Wallet and other stock applications. Here’s our hands-on video of some of the changes.

Given the frequency of betas we are seeing for iOS 12.2 and other software, we are expecting the public release to be just around the corner—perhaps around the time of Apple’s rumored event later this month?
