Apple unveils Powerbeats Pro

After the second-generation AirPods, Apple has unveiled the Powerbeats Pro, a wireless pair of earbuds for customers that want a more premium audio-listening experience. iPhone and iPad owners will experience the same level of seamless connectivity after attempting to pair the Powerbeats Pro because it too features Apple’s proprietary H1 chip that reduces pairing time and improves the wireless connection between the earbuds and the phone. They also come with Apple’s ‘Hey Siri’ support.

The Powerbeats Pro do not feature a wire of any kind and just like the AirPods, you will be able to slip each earbud into place comfortably. The latest product also comes with a charging case, and according to Apple, the user will be able to experience up to nine hours of listening time. Unfortunately, the Powerbeats Pro are not yet available to purchase, but they are ‘coming soon’. Apple has listed one useful of the Powerbeats Pro; if you charge them for just 5 minutes, they will give you an added battery life of 1.5 hours.

Like the current-generation Powerbeats, the latest ones are also sweat and water-resistant. For those customers that kept getting irritated that your AirPods would not stay in position and always fall off, the Powerbeats Pro feature earhooks to secure them into place. There are also physical controls on each earbud, with the product featuring its unique charging case. Unlike the AirPods, which are only available in a single color option, the latest wireless earbuds will be available in four; Black, Navy, Ivory, and Moss.

Let us get down to the most important aspect of the Powerbeats Pro; the price. More expensive than the second-generation AirPods, the Powerbeats Pro will set you back by $250, which will be considered an ‘over the top’ approach of Apple’s attempt to sell wireless earphones. However, there are other products out there that offer nearly the same pricing, but none of the flexibility that you will experience thanks to Apple’s H1 chip.
