SAN FRANCISCO — It was an audacious, even quixotic prediction, especially coming from the maker of a phone that changed the world.
“If you zoom out into the future, and you look back, and you ask the question, ‘What was Apple’s greatest contribution to mankind?’ — it will be about health,” the Silicon Valley tech giant’s CEO, Tim Cook, said in an interview with CNBC in January.
