Apple is reportedly “considering” using its June developers conference to reveal its revamped Mac Pro, which has been in the works for more than two years, according to Bloomberg. Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference is usually a software-focused show, but this hardware reveal would make enough sense: the Mac Pro is meant for demanding users like developers, and that’s who will be in the crowd.

It’s also been rumored that Apple could start making its own external monitor once again, and Bloomberg suggests WWDC could be used to reveal that, too. The monitor will support HDR, according to the report. Other reports have pegged the monitor as having a 31.6-inch 6K screen and using mini-LED backlighting or something similar to improve the display’s contrast and close the gap with OLED.

That’s all Bloomberg says is being considered for WWDC, but there is other Apple hardware on the way that we don’t have clear timelines for yet. An updated MacBook Pro with a 16-inch screen and a new design is said to be in the works, along with a refreshed 13-inch model that can support up to 32GB of RAM. Apple typically reveals MacBook changes in the fall, though. Another rumor says that Apple is working on a Tile-like tracking device, which 9to5Mac says could be announced as early as September.

WWDC starts on June 3rd. While hardware rumors remain vague for now, there’s been a ton of detail on what kind of software updates to expect. That includes an iOS dark mode, iPad apps on the Mac, Screen Time and Siri Shortcuts on the Mac, and updates to the iPad’s home screen and multitasking.
