Former Apple Inc. retail head Angela Ahrendts defended her revamp of the company’s stores over the past five years, and called her tenure “mission accomplished.”

Ahrendts, who left Apple in April and has since joined the board of home-sharing company Airbnb Inc., praised the changes in the iPhone maker’s more than 500 retail outlets and said “there are incredible flagships in the pipeline for the next four years.”
