Apple WWDC 2019 live blog: iOS 13, macOS 10.15, and maybe the Mac Pro

This year is going to be a big one

Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is here again, and we’re live from the ground in San Jose, California. The stakes are a little higher than usual for platforms like the Mac and the iPad, but the highest stakes might be for the long-awaited Mac Pro. WWDC isn’t often a venue where hardware is released, but this year, it seems like an updated top-tier professional Mac is a must.

The event kicks off at 10AM PT / 1PM ET, and here is everything we are looking out for during the keynote. It’s always possible that Apple could surprise us, too. This doesn’t feel like the year for the company to focus on the iPhone, but it is Apple’s bread and butter, so there might be more to show than has been rumored. But the most likely centerpiece (besides the hardware) will be how iPad apps will come to the Mac and whether that new system can help both macOS and iOS on the iPad. We’ll see!
