Amazon will ship a new version of its high-end Kindle Oasis next month, the latest in a series of refreshes for the company’s line of e-readers.

The new Oasis boasts similar specs to previous models with features like a 7-inch illuminated screen, long-life battery and IPX8-level waterproofing that’s designed to protect the device even if it’s dunked in a bathtub or a lake. The new version also features a color adjustable front light to make it easier to read in a variety of light conditions.

“Kindle is designed to create a sanctuary reading experience, and the all-new Kindle Oasis exemplifies this — whether you’re reading poolside on vacation or in in the comfort of your bed,” said Kevin Keith, vice president of Amazon devices said in a statement.

Amazon last updated the Kindle Oasis about 18 months ago. In the last eight months, Amazon refreshed its $90 flagship Kindle and the $130 Kindle Paperwhite.

Amazon’s recent device updates go beyond its e-readers. Last month, Amazon updated its best-selling $50 Fire 7 Tablet, a move that followed similar refreshes to the Fire HD 8 and Fire HD 10.

Kindle Oasis starts at $249.99 for an 8GB version, and a 32GB edition costs $279.99. The devices will begin shipping July 24, and Amazon is also offering a variety of Kindle covers priced between $39.99 and $64.99.
